“We make our friends; we make our enemies; but God makes our next door neighbour.”

Gilbert K. Chesterton

The significance of the logo behind the Ridgeway Community Forum.

Here is its make-up.

The people of the community are represented through open arms, as this is who we are and what we represent.  Open to helping our fellow neighbours. Always willing to lend a hand. They are facing each other as they are looking out for each other.

It’s a gender neutral theme as there is no superiority by anyone over the next.

The colours are not the same, as we are a mixed society representative of the country we live in.  Also pointing to the fact that’s whilst we are different, we are very much the same.

The colours are also neutral & without bias toward ethnicity, creed or affiliations.

The windows in the middle are the homes that house the families that make up this beautiful community. Strategically placed in the centre.

The semi-circle is representative of the streets that connect us to each other, whilst also representing the greenery & landscape that we are blessed with in the beautiful south.

I hope each of you can find your own positivity in it somewhere.
